About Our Candles

Burn with Safety- Always burn your candle on a heat resistant surface and awayfrom flammable objects and other sources of heat and draughts. Keep away from children and pets and never leave a candle unattended whilst lit. Always leave a minimum of 10cm between any burning candles.
Candle Performance -For maximum results burn your candle 3-4 hours at a time. After this period allow the wax to cool and solidify before re- lighting. This helps to maintain the life of your candle giving you a full and consistent fragrance throw throughout burning.
Always Keep your wick trimmed to 3-5mm. This also applies to the first time you light your candle. Ensure that any wick trimmings are removed before lighting the candle. Use wick trimming cutters where possible.
Use a long-barrelled gas lighter where possible as they do not leave a residue which matches can and it is easier to ignite the wick as the wax reduces down the candle jar. A candle snuffer should also be used to extinguish each flame.
Let the wax pool-Each time you burn your candle allow the entire top layer to become a pool of liquid wax. This creates the best fragrance throw available, keeps your wicks burning with a consistent flame and helps to avoid tunnelling (wax residue left at the sides of a candle jar).
Wax Melts-Wax melts should only be used in appropriate wax melt burners. Add one piece of the wax melt pack at a time until the required melting wax fill is reached. Do not overfill the melt burner initially as hot wax will spill over. If wax remains in the burner bowl after use and you wish to remove it, wait until the wax cools and then gently place pressure on one end of the wax until it pops out. Do not use metal or sharp objects to clean out wax as this may crack or damage the burner or cause injury.
